WE DID IT! First and foremost, thank YOU. Not only did we clean up our beautiful waterways and leave a massive environmental impact, but this weekend has already opened new doors and opportunities for future cleanups.

Because of your hard work, your photos, and your sharing online, we are connecting with so many new people who are excited to step up and #TouchTrash. In fact, in the 48 hours following the cleanup, we’ve had over 50 new volunteers sign up! That means we have some serious planning to do for our next adventure.

A Massive Shoutout to Our Sponsors

A cleanup of this scale down the Ichetucknee into the Santa Fe River requires a village. We want to give a major shoutout to the incredible sponsors who helped us pull this off.
If you attended, please tag them, collaborate with them, and thank them the best way we can. (Especially for that zaa—because that was lifesaving for so many of us after a long day on the water!)

  • LimestoneLabyrinth: For equipping us with safety whistles, and a special shoutout for being an awesome board member who got our sponsors to participate!
  • Stream2sea: For the amazing defog that kept our vision clear through the Ichetucknee and the Santa Fe River.
  • Prohibition Pizza: Who so graciously donated 15 pizzas and cheesy bread! So incredible.
  • Visit Gainesville: For providing us with the cutest alligator bottle openers and some great town brochures.
  • Live Wildly: For the very cool shades that kept us protected from the Florida sun this weekend!
  • Adventure Outpost (Lars): For supplying the canoes, the boat, and the absolute muscle needed to haul all of those heavy tires out of the water!

Finally, the biggest shoutout goes to Carmine Oliverio.

Thank you for allowing us into your family’s home, letting Kim run the kitchen, being the absolute best “Uber tuber” driver, and helping us arrange all the logistics for Sunday. Carmine also played a vital role in acquiring FWC presence to ensure everyone’s safety on the water.

We cannot wait to see what else we can get out of that river if we get the chance to do it again.

Stay tuned for more updates, keep sharing your photos, and get ready for the next one!
